Wife to tell all about husband and horses

(AAPNW) – A gallery talk by Lisa Borel, wife of Derby winning jockey Calvin Borel, will be on Thursday, September 23 at 6:00 pm at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft in Louisville. Lisa will answer questions from the audience and share stories about her personal background in the equestrian industry, how she met and what life has been like as the wife of a victorious jockey.

Following the discussion, they both will be on hand for more one-on-one, including a coffee bar featuring, “My Racing Heart” coffee and a cash bar, hors d’oeuvres, and a special door prize. The lecture is free for museum members, which coincides with the Museum’s “Equine Divine” exhibition on view through October 16.
