Paying Forward people also on honor roll

     (NWPR) – Homecoming week, Friday, October 1 and Saturday 2nd, “Celebrating the Arts-HU style” pays not only honors to the 20th anniversary of the Merillat Centre for the Arts at Huntington University in Indiana, but also notable alumni for their service and contributions to their communities and to the university.

     Besides the full schedule of events that can be view at: www.huntington.edu, the alumni in the spotlight are:

      The 2010 Alumnus of the Year goes to Nancy Hull (1974). She is fully committed to the advancement of the literary field through her active involvement in the Youth Writing Festival and the Festival of Faith Writing at Calvin College, where she is an assistant professor of English.

     The 2010 Distinguished Alumni Citation is being given to David Moss (1983) because of his mission field work in Sisak, Croatia, where he taught the young men of that city about the game of baseball and the love of Christ Jesus.

     As the executive director of NeighborLink Fort Wayne, Andrew Hoffman (2003) uses his passion, innovativeness and a true servant’s heart in his work. In his position, Andrew has worked hard to engage others in a relational ministry and is literally impacting his world for Christ one house at a time. He is the receipent of the 2010 Young Alumnus Award.
