Painters to perform for whole family

     (NWPR) – On Sunday, September 26, more than 20 noted local artists will be painting in Artlink’s “Wet Paint Auction” which is an every other year event at Lakeside Park in Fort Wayne at Pavilion #2, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. All proceeds go to support the center’s programming.

     A few of the participating artists are: Jay Bastian, Bob Bentz, Norm and Dixie Bradley, Peggy Caron-Tassler, Diana Fair, Betty Fishman, Suzanne Galazka, Gwen Gutwein, Malinda Henning, Jerry Hertenstein, Rebecca Justice-Schaab, Tom Keesee, April Knox, David Krause, Don Osos, Bill Quance, Lisa Ransom-Smith, Terry Ratliff, Doug Runyon, Sue Sells, Bill Shewman, Sarah Stoll, and Pam Turnbow. Also, works donated by artists who cannot make the auction are: Beth Wheeler  and Pat Weiss.

     The auction is an educational fun venue for the whole family. Artists will have their easels set up all over the park and the public is encouraged to watch them create. Silent bids may be made all day at Pavilion #2, but the bidding will take place after the painters bring their wet artwork to the pavilion at 1:00 p.m.  Bidding ends at 1:30 pm and winners will be able to take their wet masterpieces with them.
