‘Chartbusters’ to take on the Matrix

(AAPNW-MI) – For a one-night-only performance  at the Matrix-Midland Center for the Arts, on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 8:00 pm, Naturally 7 “…is poised to take a cappella to the next level! They’re some of my favorite singers,” said Quincy Jones.

Discovering their own unique voices that allow them to imitate musical instruments, such as sounds from bass to drums, guitars, horns and synthesizers, Naturally 7 was started in New York City in 1999 by Roger Thomas. Since then, their talent has taken them to such appearances on the Today Show as well as the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, performing with Michael Bublé. In addition, their Paris subway performance of “Feel It” (In the Air Tonight), has received over five million hits on YouTube.

In other happenings, “VocalPlay” (2010), their most recent album contains 14 new songs plus a 110-minute-DVD with highlights from their Madison Square Garden performance, original interviews and other exclusive footage as well as some of their videos, including duets with Grammy winner Michael Bublé and German superstar Xavier Naidoo.
