Years of dedication spawns public wealth

(PNAN-AL) – Anniversaries don’t happen without commitment, and in the most part, their intended purpose is a role that keeps on giving by building upon the original path for future footsteps. It takes a forever dedication like the Huntsville Museum of Art Gala, which has raised over $2 million in its twenty year history; funds that serve the public with a variety of programs that are free or at a nominal fee.

Three scheduled events begin with the 2011 Gala Luncheon on Tuesday, March 1 at 11:30 am. The luncheon will include a presentation from featured artist Dr. Gary Bodner of Atlanta, Georgia whose works are on display in the Museum galleries as well as part of the silent and live auctions. On Thursday, March 3 at 6:30 pm, the 2011 Black Tie Dinner and Live Auction takes place that also honors the Art Gala’s artists from the past twenty years, as well as their work on display, and on Saturday, March 5 beginning at 6:30 pm, the 2011 Cocktail Party and Silent Auction closes the event.
