BRIEF ABOUT: Spring 2012 Creatively in Focus Film Series is on second Fridays at 7:00 pm. Directed by Peter Sillen, this documentary is about Steven (Jesse) Bernstein, one of Seattle’s noted voices. Bernstein’s lyrical writings center on drifters and drug addicts who have been out casted by a society. He peels back the unkindness about those on the fringe to expose tender and not so tender human feeling. His unique vocal rhythms are filled with humor and pain.
