UP’s artist’s show still on view

ESCANABA, MI (AAPNW) – Now in its 29th year, “Northern Exposure XXIX” is a juried show which the judging is based on three equally weighted criteria: Creativity, Originality and Craftsmanship. On view at the Bonifas Arts Center through December 29, 2022, this show is the area’s longest running juried competition show that features works created by Upper Peninsula artists.

In the exhibition, there are 81 works by 53 artists that was judged by Jon Wos (www.wosart.com) of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

In some other upcoming at the Center are: November 30, Christmas Joy Sign Painting, 6:00-8:00 pm; December 5, 6:00-8:00 pm, Artist Gathering; December 6, 6:00-8:00 pm, Vets Acrylic Painting; December 7, 11:00 am-1:30 pm, Volunteer Brunch and Fall Raffle Drawing lived streamed at 8:00 pm; December 10, 11:00 am 12:30 pm, Gingerbread House and December 17, 6:30-8:00 pm Family Fun Night.

    As a viewer, one can easily agree why this exhibit is still the longest in the region. Creavity at the huge heights!
