Center has new home

“I am very pleased with the new location at 207 East Spring Street Street in St. Marys, Ohio,” said Mary Novin, Center Director for Arts Place, The Collective Center. “I am especially pleased for the support shown to Arts Place through the Community Improvement Corporation of St. Marys. With their help we are able to continue on with Arts Place mission to “Nurture the Creative spirit in anyone.”

On the Grand Re-opening day, Saturday, January 16, 2016, there will be a craft activity for kids from 1:00-3:00 pm and during the official opening, between 6:00-9:00 pm, works by local artists will be on view.

Collective Center Community Board President Darlene Lynskey said, “…There are still plenty of projects to be done, but projects that will come with time and as finances allow.  Our new home offers space specifically for classroom teaching with separate gallery space.  Classes will be starting after the first of the year offering watercolor painting, drawing, photography and acrylic painting.”
