‘Class acts’ to headline

International blues musician Radoslav Lorković (www.radoslavlorkovic.com) will be performing at the Wassenberg Art Center in Van Wert, Ohio on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 7:00 pm. Admission is free and coincides with the opening reception of the American Watercolor Exhibition, which will be comprised of a collection of watercolors from the best watercolorists around the world. The exhibit remains on view through February 22, 2015.


     International artists have competed in the 147th Annual American Watercolor Competition and many of these paintings will be on display.

     Prior to the upcoming opening at the Wassenberg, the exhibit, which only travels to a few and selective places in the United States each year, it was on view at Eastern Shore Art Center in Fairhope, Alabama; Abraham Arts Gallery in Plainview, Texas; and McCook Community College in McCook, Nebraska. Its final stop is the Ambleside Gallery in Greensboro, North Carolina on March 13 through April 24, 2015.
