BRIEF ABOUT: Exploring the similarities and differences between urban and rural environments, the three artists seek to address the cultural anxiety experienced where these familiar, yet unpredictable, places and ecologies intersect.

About: Karen Snouffer teaches painting, drawing and multimedia at Kenyon College. Jenn Figg is an assistant professor of art at Towson University and is currently pursuing a doctorate in media, art and text at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Matthew McCormack, who is pursuing an interdisciplinary Master of Fine Arts at Towson University, works with technology, kinetic sculpture and blown glass and lives in Baltimore, Maryland.
