Holiday spirit to come live to stage

     (NWPR-IN) – Presented by the Huntington University Theatre Company and Huntington University music department, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”, “Blue Christmas”, “Deck the Halls” and other popular Christmas tunes, including many favorite carols and religious songs comes to life in “Tis the Season: an Exciting Christmas Musical Revue” from Wednesday, December 1 through Saturday the 4th, all beginning at 7: 30 pm in the Merillat Centre for the Arts in Huntington.

     Directed by Jay Duffer, choreographed by Melissa Duffer and musically directed by Dr. George Killian, the featured performers include: Nate Adams, a sophomore from Pueblo, Colorado; Breana Balliet, junior, Van Wert, Ohio; Bethany Edlund and Philip Black, seniors, Fort Wayne, Indiana; Brittany Blazier, freshman, Ossian, Indiana; Matt Craig, junior, Lima, Ohio; Jessica Elliot, sophomore, Hillsboro, Kansas; Samantha Freeman, senior, Portland, Indiana; Audra Rittenhouse, freshman and Katie Geders, senior, Huntington, Indiana; Meagan Heffner, junior, Reading, Pennsylvania; Kieran Jackson, senior, Centerville, Pennsylvania; Jacob Keefer, junior, Willshire, Ohio; Kris Kreager, sophomore, Columbia City, Indiana; Hannah Megill, senior, Sterling, Illinois; Mary Russell, senior, Columbia, Missouri; Philip Slane, senior, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Kate Smith, junior, Centerville, Ohio; Elaine Stoughton, senior, Xenia, Ohio; Courtney Swenson, senior, Landenberg, Pennsylvania; and Molly Williams, a freshman from Logansport, Indiana.
